Let’s look at the 8 essential things needed for any type of business or any goal so you can be successful.
There are more than 8 of course. These are the ones however that are quite practical for putting to good use.
8 Essential Things For Real Success
1. Being Clear on What You Want
Every successful person will tell you that when they began they knew exactly what they wanted to achieve and focused on getting that goal fulfilled.
Be very clear and be specific on what you really want.
You might be wondering, how do you start getting clear on something? Where would you start exactly?
I know how you feel. I felt the exact same way when I started and was stuck.
I found that the easiest way to become clear on what I wanted was to
Write down on paper my goals.
By putting exactly what I wanted down on paper, it helped create a visual in my mind and plus I was able to go back every day to review these goals.
Write down your goals and don’t be afraid to make them big so you can create the life you really want to live.
If you dream big, you can achieve big.
If you dream small, you’ll always dream small. Never limit your belief in what you can do.

We are all habit forming creatures and one of the most powerful ways to draw in big success in your life is to re-write your goals every day using first person context.
If your goal is to make $20000 per month online, write it down as if you have already done this. Write down “I make $20000 per month online.”
When you do this every day, you’re programming your brain with success mindset. This is so you can draw in to your life what you want faster.
2. Focus On Results, Not Activities
When you make a list of what you need to do each day, the tendency is to do the fun and easy tasks first.
I understand this because it’s also what I’ve done in the past.
The problem is, these fun and easy tasks are not what will move you forward to be successful.
The important tasks you know you must do to get results are perhaps not so fun and easy.
What I found however, is that if I did the things I knew HAD to get done first, I felt at the end of the day I accomplished something that would propel me forward faster.

3. Have a Vision
. Having a vision is something that took me a while personally to understand. I get it if you feel a little lost right now.
Believe me, I’ve felt that same way as well.
Having a vision is looking at yourself and your life in the near future in your specific time frame you chose.
I found that the best way to do this is take 5 or 10 minutes at the end of your day and close your eyes to create a “perfect” day in your life in the near future.
Visualize from start to finish exactly what you would be doing and try to create as many details as possible.
You can start off by picking a certain day and describing waking up to a specific season and weather that day.
Visualize your freedom and your bank account as you log in to see how much money you are making every day so you can have this lifestyle that gives you the freedom to do what you want to do.
When you have written down your intended goals, your vision can be how you see yourself in the future having achieved it all. Whatever your vision is, it’s where you see your life in the future under whatever time frame you created.
Remember, this vision can be what a single day in your life would look like from morning to night if you had everything you dreamed of.
4. Become Excellent at What You Do
Let me ask you a question.
Right now, do you like what you do?
If your answer is no, you’re probably not great at whatever it is.
When you are excellent at what you do you have a sense of pride and accomplishment and you tend to enjoy your work.
The idea here is to figure out what you want to do and then become excellent at doing it.
When you’re really good at something, doors and opportunities present themselves.
How do you know if you are good at something?
The answer to that question is easy. Ask yourself how many job offers did you get this week or month? How many lucrative opportunities were presented to you recently?
If you are getting offers from people who want to hire you, then you’re probably pretty good at what you do.
5. Develop a Sense of Urgency
I’ll be the first to admit that I’ve been guilty of not doing this one in the beginning. The thing is, that a sense of urgency is what makes and breaks companies.
If you are running a business and one of your customers has a problem with whatever they bought from you, do you fix that problem now or do you tell them you’ll get back to them soon or redirect them somewhere else because you don’t have time for that?
The fact of the matter is that great companies with longevity have a sense of urgency to handle problems and tasks immediately, rather than later.
6. Be Decisive
Successful people make decisions fast and if it the wrong decision than they will make another decision.
An example of this could be that a new potential client wants to hire you for a project but let’s say that it really isn’t something you can do either because of time and lack of it.
Or you have a morality issue with what they want you to do for them.
Making a sound decision now rather than stringing them along is what good professional people do.
7. Commit and Work Hard
Committing to something is simply following through until 100% completion.
Anyone who can sustain a successful life knows that commitment to whatever they are doing is essential and only doing 90% and then losing interest will ruin credibility with others.
Working hard is a given. The only time you can be a millionaire and not work hard is if you win the lottery.
8. Be Consistent
Doing the same thing again and again, day in and day out will show others that you are dedicated. Consistent with your job or business builds trust and integrity.
A good example of this is McDonald’s.
The reason why McDonald’s is still a huge successful company for so many years is because they are consistent.
People go to this restaurant because they know exactly what to expect when they do. They know that whatever they order will be the same quality, price and speedy service as the last time they ordered.
Consistent service that never changes or rarely ever keeps customers coming back over and over.
